Zomba Mental Hospital (ZMH) is undergoing an orientation on Msonkho Online, facilitated by officers from the Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA). Zomba Mental Hospital joined the global community in commemorating World Mental Health Day through a vibrant celebration promoting mental health awareness, understanding, and support. The event began with a march from Zomba District Council to Zomba Mental Hospital, bringing together participants in a show of solidarity for mental health. The celebrations were graced by the presence of the Deputy Minister of Health and Sanitation and featured a variety of performances that highlighted the importance of mental well-being and challenged the stigma surrounding mental health conditions. The commemoration served as a reminder that mental health is an essential part of overall health and that everyone deserves compassion, dignity, and access to appropriate mental health care.
