Meet Our Nursing Team

Our mental health nurses are trained in advanced psychiatric care, psychotherapy, counselling, and community mental health. They work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists to deliver holistic care.

Admissions, Referrals & Visit Information

How to Refer

Referrals may be made by clinicians, primary health centres, or self-referral in some cases. Urgent referrals should be telephoned through to the on-call psychiatrist or nursing coordinator.

Admission Criteria

  • Significant risk to self or others
  • Severe functional decline associated with mental illness
  • Need for specialist psychiatric assessment, treatment, or stabilization not possible in primary care

What to Bring

Identification, a list of current medications, contact details for next of kin, and any existing medical records if available. Personal clothing and small comforts are encouraged but limited for safety reasons.

Visiting Hours & Family Engagement

Visiting hours are scheduled to support recovery and ward routines; family involvement through structured family meetings and psychoeducation is strongly encouraged.
